Loving the journey not the destination.


"The day came when the risk to remain tight in the bud was more painful than the risk it took to blossom." Anais Nin.

The above quote feels relevant to me. After twenty years of teaching in the east end of London I have begun to walk a different path, I have begun to blossom.

This new path has brought more creativity into my life, whether it is working with adults and children in schools, developing my skills as a stained glass artist or dancing!

Developing my skill as a stainined glass artist has been a mixture of self teaching but also working with exceptional artists such as Marilyn O Keefe and Sylvia Bearpark.

I love using the patterns in nature, simplifying and adapting them into my designs. A lot of my inspiration comes from walks on the beach or countryside, with the people I love. So the pieces I make become a memory in glass of that day.

I also work with clients and their ideas. Creating between us something beautiful that brings more light and colour into a specific space.

It is a journey that has to be lived with joy and passion.......because this is not a dress rehearsal.
